This interactive lesson looks at different types of domestic abuse by examining signs of unhealthy relationships. Students are encouraged to talk to each other and decide which unhealthy traits go under which type of domestic abuse. There are opportunities to extend and challenge more able students. ALL students can create an awareness poster based on what they have learned and are signposted where to access further help and support. Lesson plan included to help you along with some support services.

An introduction to what ASD is to help ALL students better understand the condition to promote inclusivity and help them understand that ASD a condition that can (and should be) easily supported by everyone. I've used Sesame Street and Big Bang Theory to help students understand how ASD presents differently in different people. There are references at the end if people want to conduct further references with UK based research. This should be done over two tutor periods to allow for ample time for discussion and expansion of activities included.

Vaping is on the rise for young people. With new regulations in the UK as of May 2017, I put this PSHEE tutor resource together to get students thinking about the impacts of vaping on their health. There are lots of videos to watch/discuss. You will need to change slide 9 to reflect your own School's response to students bringing vape equipment on school premises.

I have used the Budget Game which is produced by Barclays as the lesson that follows this - hence why I have linked a homework piece for this lesson to help prepare students for this.
